Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and family therapy, focusing on strategies that support mental health and emotional stability, while continually evaluating patient progress to adjust treatment plans as necessary.

  • Document treatment records promptly and accurately, ensuring compliance with state regulations and organizational standards using current electronic health record (EHR) systems.

  • Collaborate with students, family members, and other healthcare providers to create and implement effective treatment plans that meet defined goals and address specific challenges related to the cancer diagnosis.

  • Engage in teamwork by contributing insights during case discussions and leveraging each memberโ€™s expertise to enhance the overall care experience of students.

  • Facilitate referrals to additional services as needed and act as a liaison between families and other treatment providers to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications
