Data Governance Specialist We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Specialist to lead and support our enterprise data governance initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in defining governance frameworks, developing roadmaps, and partnering with business and technical teams to ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance across the organization. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement a comprehensive data governance strategy aligned with organizational goals.

Create and maintain a detailed data governance roadmap , outlining key milestones, maturity goals, and implementation steps. Establish and manage data governance policies, standards, and processes. Work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to define data ownership, data stewardship, and data quality requirements.

Support metadata management, data cataloging, data lineage, and classification initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data quality, resolve data issues, and promote best practices. Conduct regular assessments of governance processes and recommend enhancements.

Prepare documentation, reports, and dashboards on data governance metrics and progress. Stay current with industry trends and evolving regulatory requirements (e.g., privacy, security, compliance). Required Skills & Qualifications 10+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or related fields.

Strong understanding of data governance frameworks , best practices, and data lifecycle management. Experience defining governance strategy and roadmap for enterprise environments. Hands‐on experience with metadata management, data cataloging, data quality tools, or MDM solutions.
