The main difference between an Internship Remote Crm and a Remote Crm is experience level and employment status. Internships are designed for learners gaining initial exposure, while remote CRM roles are for experienced professionals managing ongoing customer relationships remotely.

What key skills and qualifications are needed to excel as a remote CRM intern, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Remote CRM Intern, you generally need basic knowledge of customer relationship management principles, strong organizational skills, and preferably a background in business or marketing. Familiarity with CRM platforms like Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho, and proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace are often expected. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are crucial soft skills. These abilities ensure effective customer data management and seamless remote collaboration, both of which are vital for supporting sales and marketing goals.

What does a typical day look like for a remote CRM intern?

As a remote CRM intern, your typical day will involve supporting the team by managing customer data, assisting with email marketing campaigns, analyzing client interactions, and troubleshooting minor issues within the CRM system. You’ll likely join virtual meetings to discuss ongoing projects or updates, and collaborate with sales, marketing, and IT teams to ensure data accuracy and customer satisfaction. Effective communication and self-motivation are essential, as you'll need to manage your tasks independently while keeping the team informed of your progress.

What is a remote CRM internship?

A remote CRM internship is a temporary, learning-focused position where interns gain hands-on experience working with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems from a remote location. Interns typically assist with managing customer data, analyzing client interactions, and supporting sales or marketing teams through CRM software. This type of internship provides exposure to digital communication tools, data analysis, and customer service processes, all while working outside of a traditional office environment.

About Broughton Partners

Broughton Partners is an innovative, technology-first legal marketing and mass tort case acquisition company with a mission to connect law firms with qualified claimants nationwide. Anchored by The Goldwater Law Firm as our originating firm, we ensure the highest levels of ethics, compliance, and quality control across every campaign.

We deploy world-class digital and traditional marketing across television, radio, social media, and digital channels — supported by a 24/7 in-house intake team — to deliver pre-qualified, retained cases directly to our law firm partners. Our proprietary Partner Portal brings unmatched transparency and data visibility to the mass tort space.

Position Summary

Broughton Partners is seeking a driven, relationship-oriented Business Development Sales Representative to grow and manage partnerships with law firms across the country. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to referring and litigating firms, educating them on Broughton Partners' turn-key mass tort case acquisition solutions and driving new business through consultative selling.

This is a high-impact role at the intersection of legal marketing, business strategy, and relationship management. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands the mass tort litigation landscape, and is passionate about connecting attorneys with the tools they need to serve more clients and fight for justice.

Key Responsibilities

Law Firm Business Development

  • Identify, prospect, and cultivate relationships with plaintiff law firms, referring firms, and litigating firms nationwide
  • Present Broughton Partners' full suite of mass tort marketing and case acquisition services to attorneys and firm decision-makers
  • Drive new partnership agreements and expand existing relationships through consultative, value-driven sales strategies
  • Attend legal industry conferences, summits, and networking events (e.g., Mass Torts Made Perfect, NTL Summit) to represent the Broughton Partners brand

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned law firm partners throughout the sales cycle and onboarding process
  • Collaborate with internal marketing, intake, and operations teams to ensure seamless campaign launches and client satisfaction
  • Conduct regular check-ins and performance reviews with partner firms using the Broughton Partners Portal
  • Address partner inquiries, resolve concerns, and proactively identify opportunities to deepen engagement

Sales Strategy & Pipeline Management

  • Maintain a robust pipeline of prospective and active law firm partners using CRM tools
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets and new partner acquisition goals
  • Develop tailored proposals and campaign recommendations aligned to each firm's tort focus, budget, and claimant acquisition goals
  • Track and report sales activity, KPIs, and revenue metrics to leadership

Industry Knowledge & Compliance Awareness

  • Stay current on active and emerging mass tort litigations (e.g., Social Media Addiction, Hernia Mesh, PowerPort, JDC-IL, CMTA etc.)
  • Educate law firm partners on ethical, compliant marketing practices and the risks of fraudulent legal advertising
  • Communicate the value of Broughton Partners' co-counsel model and originating firm structure to prospective partners
  • Support partners in understanding Broughton's intake, qualification, and retainer delivery processes

Qualifications

Required

  • 3+ years of B2B sales, business development, or account management experience
  • Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales targets in a consultative selling environment
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage a high-volume pipeline independently
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, SalesLoft) and sales productivity tools

Preferred

  • Experience in legal marketing sales, Legal Business Development, Financial Sales, Investment Banking, Wealth Management.
  • Existing network of plaintiff law firm contacts or legal industry professionals
  • Familiarity with mass tort litigation lifecycle, case evaluation, and claimant acquisition processes
  • Knowledge of legal advertising compliance and bar ethics guidelines
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or Industry Experience
What We Offer
  • Competitive base salary with uncapped commission structure — your earning potential grows with your results
  • Performance bonuses tied to partnership milestones and campaign success
  • Flexible remote or hybrid work environment
  • Access to a best-in-class marketing engine - TV, radio, digital, and social media campaigns  - that you can leverage to close deals
  • Collaborative, mission-driven culture focused on ethics, compliance, and delivering real results for law firms and claimants
  • Health, dental, and vision benefits
  • Professional development opportunities and conference attendance support
  • The opportunity to make a meaningful impact by connecting injured claimants with the legal representation they deserve
Why Broughton Partners?

When you join our team, you represent a brand that law firms trust to deliver.
