This position is a remote role that allows flexibility while still being part of an engaging team. • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate mental health status, utilizing the latest edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) where necessary.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate cultural diversity and unique patient needs, continually adapting strategies based on patient progress.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatment records, and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and departmental procedures.
• Engage collaboratively with patients, families, and other clinicians to formulate and execute a comprehensive care plan aimed at achieving desired mental health outcomes.
• Provide psychoeducation about mental health conditions and coping mechanisms, empowering patients to manage their health effectively.
• Establish and foster effective working relationships with referral agencies to provide seamless care coordination for patients.
• Mentor and guide students and interns, sharing valuable insights and techniques that contribute to their professional growth.
• Participate in peer-to-peer review sessions and clinical collaboration under the guidance of your supervisor, enhancing team performance and patient care delivery.

You will focus on patients and families affected by cancer, emphasizing a holistic approach to mental health care. Your role is critical in facilitating psychological support, addressing anxiety and depression related to cancer treatment, and enhancing the overall quality of life for these individuals during challenging times.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Florida.

• Clinical experience within a healthcare setting, particularly in cancer care or chronic illness management.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

The salary range for this position is competitive, with an annual salary between USD 90,000 and 105,000.
