Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for clients to identify their mental health needs and collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions through teletherapy, utilizing techniques tailored to each client’s unique preferences and clinical requirements.
• Collaborate with clients to set achievable therapeutic goals and consistently monitor their progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment strategies as needed.
• Engage in thorough and accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment plans to maintain regulatory compliance and support continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve clients who are pre-screened, stable, and exhibit low acuity in their mental health needs. This client population includes diverse backgrounds and various demographics, providing an enriching experience for counselors to implement their skills meaningfully. By focusing on low-acuity cases, you can deliver the attentive care that promotes healing and growth in a more relaxed therapeutic context.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related mental health field is required.
• Possession of an active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is essential. Note that we cannot accept interns or therapists requiring supervision to provide individual therapy.
• Strong proficiency in communication, both written and verbal, is necessary, along with the ability to manage and coordinate a caseload independently.
• No disciplinary actions against your license are allowable.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a remote or telehealth environment, demonstrating adaptability to digital communication and therapeutic methodologies.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care.
• Experience with client population diversity, including different cultural backgrounds, socioeconomic statuses, and varying mental health concerns.

Compensation and Benefits
