Job description

Job Title: Business Intel Analyst Location: Vienna, VA Work Model: Hybrid – onsite and remote

Responsibilities

  • li>Support Quality Control Risk Management by delivering accurate, timely, and actionable reporting and analytics for QCRM leaders, Real Estate Lending business partners, and audit or exam stakeholders.
  • Maintain recurring reports and dashboards, validate reporting outputs, analyze trends and risks, support system administration activities, and translate business needs into clear reporting requirements.
  • Create, refresh, validate, and distribute various recurring reports and dashboards including monthly QC reporting and management-level reports.
  • Analyze QC results, trends, defects, exceptions, operational patterns, and emerging risks to inform leadership and support decision-making.
  • Apply data validation, cleaning, reconciliation, and quality control techniques to ensure reporting accuracy and reliability.
  • Maintain documentation, validation, approval, and evidence records in coordination with designated reviewers.
  • Utilize business intelligence tools such as Power BI, SQL, Excel, and Power Query to build, troubleshoot, and improve reports.
  • Facilitate stakeholder discussions to gather requirements, define audiences, confirm data sources, and align deliverables with business needs.
  • Support reporting request management through tools such as ADO, SharePoint, and others.
  • Assist with system administration, access governance, and security activities related to reporting tools.
  • Develop and maintain procedures, technical documentation, and audit-ready support materials.
  • Support audit, regulatory, and management requests by documenting data sources, calculations, and conclusions clearly and defensibly.
  • Identify reporting gaps, data quality issues, and process inefficiencies, and recommend improvements.
  • Participate in modernization initiatives including automation and dashboard migration.
  • Communicate findings, risks, and report updates effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence
  • Understanding of business operations, risk management, and reporting lifecycles
  • Proficient with Power BI, SQL, Excel, Power Query, and data visualization tools
  • Knowledge of data validation, reconciliation, and quality practices
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Data Analytics, or related field
  • Experience supporting regulatory or audit reporting is a plus
