Internship Remote Automation Testing information

What is a remote automation testing internship?

A remote automation testing internship is a temporary, entry-level position where interns gain practical experience in software quality assurance by writing and executing automated tests, all while working remotely. Interns typically use testing tools and programming languages to create scripts that automatically check software functionality, identify bugs, and ensure the product meets quality standards. The remote aspect means all work, communication, and collaboration are done online, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work from any location. This type of internship is ideal for students or recent graduates interested in software testing and automation.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an internship remote automation testing professional?

To thrive as an Internship Remote Automation Testing professional, you need a foundational understanding of software testing principles, programming languages (such as Java or Python), and a relevant educational background in computer science or a related field. Familiarity with automation tools like Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG, and version control systems such as Git, is typically required. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and effective communication skills help you identify issues and collaborate with remote teams. These skills ensure efficient test automation, quality software delivery, and successful teamwork in a distributed work environment.

Job description

Bridge is looking for a Director of Growth Marketing & Demand Generation.
This is a builder's role, reporting to the VP Marketing, you will own our demand generation strategy and the systems that execute it, and you will carry a number for what marketing contributes to the pipeline. You will set the plan, run the channels, own the marketing automation engine, and build the measurement layer that tells us what is working. Where process does not exist yet, you will create it.
We are a company that sells identity and audience intelligence to sophisticated buyers, so we expect our own growth engine to be a credible example of what we sell. You will be the person accountable for making that true.
You will partner closely with the Sales Operations, who owns the outbound motion, our SDR partner agencies, and CRM mechanics. That partnership is central to the role, and defining how leads move between marketing and sales is your responsibility to design and hold.
Key Responsibilities:
Pipeline. You will carry a shared pipeline target with Sales and be accountable for marketing's contribution to it. Success is measured in qualified pipeline and revenue, not in lead volume or activity.
The demand strategy and its execution. You will decide where we invest to reach our buyers, translate that into campaigns that run on time and on budget, and adjust based on what the data says. This includes account-based programs against a defined target account list.
Paid media performance. You will own budget, strategy, and day-to-day performance across the major paid B2B channels. You will be expected to know your cost per opportunity, defend your allocation, and reallocate quickly when a channel stops returning.
The marketing automation and CRM engine. We currently run on HubSpot. You will own the marketing side of it end to end, including the segmentation, lifecycle programs, and lead scoring logic that move a prospect from first touch to sales-ready. You will also own the health of the data and our email deliverability, because the engine is only as good as what runs through it.
Measurement leadership. You will build reporting that connects spend to pipeline to revenue, present it to leadership without being asked, and be the person in the room who can explain why the numbers moved.
The stack as it evolves. You will evaluate and select the tools we need as we grow, lead any migration that follows, and partner with Sales Operations on how those platforms are governed.
A culture of testing. You will run a continuous experimentation agenda across channels, offers, and conversion paths, and turn what you learn into the next cycle of strategy.
Desired Skills, Education, and Experience:
  • You have spent 8 or more years in demand generation, growth marketing, or performance marketing, with meaningful time in B2B. You have operated at director level, or you are a senior manager clearly ready for the step.
  • You have owned a pipeline number. You can tell us what marketing sourced or influenced in dollars, how it was measured, and what you did when you were behind. This is the requirement we weigh most heavily.
  • You are still hands-on. You have personally run paid campaigns and personally built inside a marketing automation platform. You may have managed people or agencies, but you have not been away from the work long enough to have lost the craft.
  • You have built rather than inherited. You have stood up a function, a platform, or a measurement system where none existed. You are comfortable being the person who decides how something should work.
  • You are analytical by instinct. You reach for the data before the opinion, you are honest when a program is not working, and you can hold your own in a conversation about attribution and its limits.
  • You partner well with Sales. You have negotiated lead definitions and handoff expectations with a sales organization and made them stick.
  • We will also want to hear about experience with account-based platforms and intent data, standing up or migrating a marketing automation or CRM platform, and web analytics and structured testing.

This is a remote position with the potential for occasional travel, and a salary range of $125,000 to $145,000.
What BRIDGE offers you:
  • An opportunity to work with and directly impact our organization's growth and revenue
  • An opportunity to work with the latest technology
  • Professional growth and development
  • Competitive salary and compensation structure and benefits
  • An enjoyable and evolving culture in a forward-thinking company

Bridge is the people-based marketing platform that helps you rise above advertising complexity. We can connect you to your true buying audience. Because we already know your next customer.
While other companies merely sell data, we sell knowledge. We've created custom profiles for every one of the more than 250 million verified people in our platform and share insights nobody else has.
Bridge makes it easy to find your ideal customers and reach them anywhere. Facebook, email, desktop, mobile, connected TV -- wherever your buyer is, we are too. We work with you every step of the way to optimize the performance of your campaign so you can make every ad dollar count.
Since our founding in 2010, Fortune 500 companies, leading agencies, and fast-growing entrepreneurial businesses have trusted Bridge to build real-world custom audiences and hyper-engaged campaigns across all platforms.
