Job description
Lytehaus Group is a live interactive entertainment and data company. Our first show, Nylon, is a live dating series where the audience doesn't just watch — they vote, intervene, and decide what happens next in real time, inside the Lytehaus app. Entertainment is the product. Behavioral data is the asset.
We're a seed-stage startup launching in NYC in Q4 2026, with London to follow. You'll work directly with the founders. Nothing here is theoretical — the show is live, the metrics are real, and what you do this week shows up in the numbers next week.
The roleYou'll own the top of our funnel: turning TikTok reach into app downloads. TikTok is where people discover Nylon — clips, moments, teasers. The app is where they watch live, vote, and shape the show. Your job is to move people from scroll to install to first vote.
This is not a social media management internship. It's a funnel role with a live product that ships multiple times a week. You'll run experiments, kill what doesn't work, and double down on what does.
What you'll do- Design and run acquisition experiments on TikTok: hooks, clip formats, posting cadence, CTAs, bio/link strategy, and paid boosts (TikTok Promote / Ads Manager) — all optimized for installs, not just views
- Turn each live episode into a content flywheel — clipping the moments that make people need to see what happens next, and can only do so in the app
- Own the scroll-to-install journey: link-in-bio flows, landing pages, App Store copy testing, attribution tracking, and reducing drop-off at every step
- Build and track the funnel dashboard: views → profile visits → link clicks → installs → sign-ups → first vote → return for next episode
- Drive activation and retention inside the app: push/notification timing around live episodes, referral and invite mechanics, streaks and comeback loops
- Recruit and activate the early community — cast applicants, superfans, campus ambassadors, NYC launch events — all pointed at the app
- Test channels beyond TikTok: IG Reels, YouTube Shorts, Reddit, campus groups, dating/entertainment newsletters
- Feed learnings straight back into the show and product: which moments, formats, and CTAs actually convert
- You live on TikTok. You understand why one video gets 200 views and another gets 2M — and how to convert those views into action off-platform
- Evidence you've grown something — an app, an account, a community, a newsletter, a side project. Show us the numbers
- You think in funnels: you can set up tracking, spot the leaky step, and fix it with an experiment rather than a hunch
- Fast, scrappy, and self-directed — you ship experiments without waiting for permission
- Bonus: video editing (CapCut/Premiere), app install campaigns, ASO, attribution tools (AppsFlyer/Adjust/Branch), referral mechanics, meme fluency
- Bonus: you're in NYC or can be around for launch
- Real ownership of the acquisition funnel for a live product at launch — not a slide deck, an install curve
- Direct daily access to the founding team
- Paid internship with potential to convert to a full-time founding team role post-raise
- Your experiments on a stage: what you build decides how many thousands show up live
- Your TikTok handle (or the account/app/community you've grown)
- One thing you'd try in week one to turn TikTok viewers into app downloads — three sentences max
- CV or LinkedIn
