Job description

LaGrange College seeks to fill a tenure-track appointment for an assistant or associate professor of computer science and coordinator of our bachelor's- and master's-level computer science programs.
An earned doctorate in computer science or related field is preferred, although individuals with a master's degree in computer science with commensurate professional experience will be considered.
Prior experience in teaching is preferred, but not required. Applicants must show evidence of accomplishments or strong potential for success in teaching, development of new programs in computer science, and service to the institution and to the discipline.
The successful candidate will teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels in computer science based on their area of expertise, supervise practicum students, advise undergraduate and graduate students in the program, and continue to develop our programs for success. They may be required to provide instruction in face-to-face, on-line, or hybrid modalities.
