POSITION TITLE: Solutions and Market Lead (Pharma - Medical Affairs, Market Access, HEOR, & RWE)
LOCATION: Cambridge, MA (hybrid) or U.S. (remote)
This position reports to our global HQ in Cambridge, MA. Travel is expected domestically and internationally when needed.
Who We Are:
TriNetX connects healthcare organizations and researchers across the globe so they can see what's happening in real patient populations-not guesses, not simulations.
Our aim is simple and ambitious: Provide a clear path to trustworthy answers, whether your goal is to create promising new therapies, publish groundbreaking research, or improve health outcomes.
We keep identifiable data where it belongs-inside more than 11,000+ clinical sites across 20+ countries-preserving security, provenance, and granularity. Our trusted partnerships with providers ensure high-fidelity data, and a properly governed linkage back to individual patients.
At TriNetX, we enable life sciences, healthcare, and academic institutions to strengthen human health-with data you can trace, evidence you can defend, and answers you can trust.
Who We Are Looking For:
The Solution and Market Lead for Medical Affairs, Market Access, HEOR, and Real World Evidence (RWE) is accountable for owning the solution strategy, market positioning, and commercial success of offerings that support evidence generation, value demonstration, and patient access across the pharmaceutical lifecycle.
This role serves as the market owner and domain authority for post-approval and peri-approval evidence use cases, translating the needs of Medical Affairs, HEOR, Market Access, and Value & Outcomes teams into scalable, differentiated solutions. The individual will work cross functionally with Product, Data, Delivery, Marketing, and Commercial teams to ensure solutions are scientifically credible, commercially compelling, and aligned with evolving payer, HTA, and regulatory expectations.
They will be responsible for understanding and communicating market problems/hassles and working with our Product Management, Client Delivery, and Commercial teams to devise, build, sell, and deliver existing and new solutions.
This role will report into our SVP, Solutions and Product Management and join a team of fellow market owners.
What You Will Be Doing:
  • Market & Customer Leadership
    • Own deep expertise in Medical Affairs, HEOR, Market Access, and RWE workflows, including value story development, comparative effectiveness, burden of illness, outcomes research, and payer/HTA evidence requirements.
    • Maintain a current view of payer, HTA, and regulatory evidence expectations across key geographies and therapeutic areas.
    • Define buyer personas (e.g., Medical Affairs, HEOR, Value & Access, Epidemiology, Evidence Generation) and articulate their success metrics and pain points.

  • Solution Strategy & Lifecycle Ownership
    • Lead end-to-end solution ownership from ideation and design through pre-launch, launch, and post-launch optimization, in alignment with the broader solution/product management framework.
    • Partner closely with Product, Data, Engineering, and Delivery teams to shape solution scope, differentiation, and scalability.
    • Define solution packaging, pricing inputs, and value articulation for the associated pharma use cases.

  • Go-to-Market & Commercial Enablement
    • Develop and execute the GTM strategy for Medical Affairs, Market Access, HEOR, and RWE solutions within pharma.
    • Enable Sales, Account Management, and Customer Success with messaging, pitch materials, use-case narratives, and competitive positioning.
    • Support complex deals by participating in discovery, shaping solution approaches, and engaging credibly with senior medical and access stakeholders.

  • Revenue & Impact Accountability
    • Own pipeline influence, bookings contribution, and adoption metrics for the solution portfolio.
    • Balance near term commercial opportunities with longer term platform and capability investments.
    • Track post sale usage and outcomes to refine solution-market fit and expand footprint within accounts.

  • Cross Functional & Thought Leadership
    • Serve as the connective tissue between market needs and internal execution across Product, Delivery, Commercial, and Marketing teams.
    • Ensure scientific rigor, methodological credibility, and compliance considerations are embedded in solution design and positioning.
    • Act as an internal and external thought leader on the role of RWE, HEOR, and value evidence in modern pharma decision making.

What You Bring to TriNetX:
  • 10+ years of experience in Medical Affairs, HEOR, Market Access, RWE, or outcomes research within pharma, biotech, CROs, or evidence/data vendors.
  • Demonstrated experience owning solution strategy, market ownership, or product adjacent leadership in a life sciences B2B environment.
  • Strong understanding of real world data sources, study designs (retrospective and prospective), and evidence generation for regulatory, payer, and HTA use.
  • Proven ability to work cross functionally and influence senior stakeholders without direct authority.

Bonus Points:
  • Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MPH, MSc, MD) or equivalent experience in epidemiology, health economics, outcomes research, or related fields.
  • Experience launching or scaling new RWE, HEOR, or value focused solutions.
  • Comfort engaging with senior Medical Affairs, HEOR, and Market Access leaders at global pharma companies.
