CULT Collective is looking for a Senior Strategist to join us, someone who knows that strategy isn't about frameworks for their own sake, but about changing trajectories. Of brands. Of businesses. Of people.

This role is for you if...

You live comfortably at the intersection of rigor and imagination. You can turn ambiguity into clarity, tension into insight, and messy human behavior into strategies people can actually act on.

You have:

• 8+ years of agency experience, with real responsibility-not just participation trophies.
• A proven track record of leading meaningful strategic work across brand, communications, and experience.
• The confidence to challenge clients (and colleagues) when the easy answer isn't the right one.
• A point of view-and the backbone to defend it with logic, evidence, and taste.

You don't confuse confidence with certainty. You're curious, restless, and allergic to lazy thinking. You know when to zoom out to the business and when to zoom in on the human.

Most importantly: you speak up. You fight for ideas you believe in. You don't wait to be invited.

What you'll actually do here

As a Senior Strategist at CULT, you'll be trusted to think broadly and act decisively.

You will:

• Lead complex strategic engagements across brand, business, and communications, delivering work that is clear, defensible, and inspiring.
• Partner directly with senior client leadership to uncover real business problems-and design strategies that move measurable needles.
• Independently drive and oversee a wide range of strategic outputs, including:
  • Brand and positioning strategy
  • Communications and campaign planning
  • Market, category, and competitive analysis
  • Creative briefing and idea evaluation
  • Insight and trend synthesis
  • Connections and experience planning
• Act as a strategic partner to the Chief Strategy Officer, contributing to CULT IP and the evolution of our offerings.
• Be the "big brain" in the room-proactively shaping scopes, engagements, and recommendations rather than waiting for direction.
• Mentor junior strategists and cross-functional teammates, raising the bar on thinking, confidence, and craft across the agency.
• Live our values in practice, not just in words-setting the standard for curiosity, courage, and strategic excellence.

Travel is part of the role. Great strategy rarely happens only from behind a desk.

What we're looking for (and what we're not)

You have deep experience across both B2B and B2C, and you understand how brand behaves differently-but obeys the same fundamental laws-across categories.

You are:

• Comfortable presenting to and influencing senior executives
• Able to balance long-term strategic vision with real-world application
• Calm and effective in ambiguity-and capable of leading others through it

• A framework collector with no point of view
• A strategist who waits for perfect information before acting
• Someone who needs consensus to feel confident
