We are looking for our next Analyst. Analysts build the foundational knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to support clients and advisory teams at a high level. Working alongside experienced advisors, Analysts gain exposure to financial planning, client service, and business operations while participating in structured training, coaching, and hands-on development opportunities. What You'll Do:
Financial Planning & Analysis:
  • Prepare financial planning, investment, and wealth management analyses and deliverables in partnership with advisory team members.
  • Support portfolio reviews and investment research by gathering data, conducting analyses, and helping identify opportunities for discussion with the advisory team.
  • Conduct analyses related to financial planning topics, including tax planning, equity compensation, retirement planning, and wealth transfer strategies while maintaining accurate client and portfolio records.
  • Partner with Tax, Investments, Estate Planning, and advisory teams to support the development and implementation of client recommendations.
  • Build technical expertise, professional judgment, and client service skills through structured training, coaching, and real-world client work.
Client Meeting Preparation & Delivery:
  • Partner with advisory teams to prepare client meeting agendas, analyze client data, support the development of recommendations, prepare client deliverables, and document client action items in Salesforce.
  • Support tax coordination and implementation activities for clients' personal and trust accounts, working closely with advisory team members and internal specialists.
  • Coordinate and track client service team priorities, ensuring follow-through on action items and helping deliver a consistent, high-quality client experience.
Operations & Client Service:ย 
  • Support the day-to-day priorities of advisory teams by providing analytical, operational, and client service support throughout the client lifecycle.
  • Partner with advisory team members to execute time-sensitive client requests, including trades, wire transfers, and journals, while ensuring accuracy, proper approvals, timely completion, and clear communication.
  • Work closely with custodians and internal partners to support account servicing, operational requests, and client-related inquiries.
  • Gather, organize, and maintain client information within Salesforce and other firm systems, ensuring accurate records and high-quality client data.
Your Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree required (preferably in Financial Planning, Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics)
  • Academic success and other internships or work-related experience preferred.
  • Series 65 (or equivalent) or ability to obtain within 120 days of hire.
  • Strong interest in pursuing the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) credential in the future.
  • Baseline proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, Excel, Windows) required; expected to learn other position-related systems on the job.

  • Position to begin on August 9, 2027.
  • This role is an in-office, and exempt position. We are a work from office culture with lots of flexibility.
Analyst Training Program (ATP)

As an Analyst, you will participate in the Analyst Training Program (ATP), a structured development experience designed to build the foundational knowledge, skills, and experiences needed to support clients and grow your career at Brighton Jones. The program combines formal training, hands-on learning, coaching, mentorship, and practical application to help Analysts develop the capabilities required for long-term success.

During the program, you will:ย 

  • Complete required onboarding, training, and licensing milestones, including preparation for and completion of the Series 65 examination.
  • Participate in classroom-based and real-world learning designed to build foundational financial planning, client service, and business knowledge.
  • Apply learning through guided practice, job shadowing, and progressively challenging client-related work assignments.
  • Partner closely with a dedicated Training Partner and People Manager who will provide coaching, feedback, and support throughout the program.
  • Build relationships across the firm through collaboration with teammates, mentors, and cross-functional partners.
  • Develop an understanding of the Brighton Jones client experience, business model, and career development framework.
  • Progress toward demonstrated proficiency in key Analyst competencies and ATP graduation requirements.
  • Program Length: The program is designed to be completed within 6 - 12 months. Timing may vary based on licensing completion, demonstrated proficiency against defined Analyst competencies, quality and consistency of work, and readiness for increasingly independent assignments.
  • Completion & Graduation: Successful completion confirms that the Analyst has demonstrated the program's foundational competencies. Future career progression will be evaluated separately based on sustained performance, demonstrated readiness, credential requirements, business needs, and the firm's promotion process.

  • Pay: $81,000 per year
