Member Outreach Intern - Spring 2027

CPAC Foundation

Alexandria, VA

$16 - $21.50/hr

Part-time

Posted 18 days ago

Job description

The Member Outreach Intern conducts direct contact with members and supporters by phone, text, and survey. This is the role that builds the single most durable political skill available at the entry level: composure in cold contact, and the ability to hold a message under objection.
Performance in this role is evaluated on conversation quality and data accuracy, not raw dial volume. Ranking callers by dial count produces rushed calls and corrupted records. Interns are trained on applicable contact rules - permitted calling hours, do-not-call obligations, and consent requirements for automated calls and text messaging - and must follow them without exception.
This role is ideal for: A student who wants the most durable skill in politics - staying composed, on message, and accurate with someone who did not expect to hear from you.
