About the Role

We are seeking a Crew Lead who wants to grow with a company thats scaling quickly and investing in its people. This is more than a field roleits a leadership opportunity within our expanding Field Management Team.

Crew Leads are expected to be true leadersmentors who drive performance, uphold safety, and represent Alpines culture in the field. Youll also participate in weekly leadership meetings with Sales, Executive, Office, and Field Management to align strategy, improve communication, and support the companys continued growth.

You must also be comfortable using an electronic app to manage daily jobs, scheduling, and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, and motivate assigned field crew(s) to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality work.
  • Manage morning setup and deploymentequipment, safety checks, and job readiness.
  • Conduct daily job briefings, assign responsibilities, and monitor productivity.
  • Provide detailed end-of-day reports and performance feedback.
  • Train and mentor field employees on equipment operation and safety best practices.
  • Attend and contribute to weekly safety meetings and monthly production meetings.
  • Participate in onboarding and field training for new hires and interns.
  • Assist with snow removal operations during the winter months.
  • Enforce and help refine field protocols that improve safety, communication, and efficiency.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Crew Lead in tree care.
  • ISA Certified Arborist (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
  • Valid, insurable drivers license.
  • Proven leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to use digital tools for scheduling, documentation, and reporting.
  • Commitment to Alpines culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development.
