An Internship Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) assists in implementing and enforcing radiation safety protocols within an organization, often under the supervision of a certified RSO. Their responsibilities include monitoring radiation levels, conducting safety training, maintaining regulatory compliance, and helping to manage the safe use and disposal of radioactive materials. This internship provides hands-on experience in radiation safety procedures, risk assessment, and regulatory documentation, preparing students or recent graduates for advanced roles in the field. Strong attention to detail, effective communication, and problem-solving skills help interns excel in monitoring practices and advising on safety procedures.
