Product Support Engineer (Maintenance)

Boeing Engineering & Technology Innovation is seeking a Product Support Engineer to lead project execution and drive standardization efforts across Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facilities, Development Excellence, and Technical Development in Charleston, SC, or other locations listed. This role will focus on coordinating and delivering enterprise engineering solutions and process improvements that enhance technical rigor and operational excellence across all enterprise product support engineering activities.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead project planning and execution to standardize Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facilities, ensuring consistent processes and technical development across sites.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance Development Excellence by implementing best practices in engineering design, review, and execution.
  • Support and facilitate Design Practices, Technical Design Reviews (TDRs), and Model Based Engineering efforts to maintain engineering rigor and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain technology roadmaps and project plans for process improvements and tool implementations aligned with Product Support Engineering and Engineering & Technology Innovation strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional business unit teams, including Digital Enterprise, Engineering, and Operations, to integrate engineering solutions and support digital transformation goals.
  • Act as a liaison between Functional Chief Engineer (FCE) Product Support Engineering office and other functional organizations to ensure cohesive execution of engineering and operational initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, risk management, and workforce development to enhance technical excellence and operational readiness.
  • Support onboarding, training, and knowledge transfer activities to build workforce proficiency and sustain project outcomes.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related technical discipline.
  • 7+ years of experience with aerospace products and/or product support
  • 3+ years of experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects, transactions or initiatives
  • US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 (US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience applying Systems Engineering principles in aerospace or defense industries.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proven collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with risk management and engineering process improvement.
  • Familiarity with digital enterprise tools, model-based engineering, and product lifecycle management.
  • Project Management expertise

Travel: Some travel may be required up to 10% of the time.
