Description

This position will assist/support other engineers with design, research & development, conducting tests/inspections, gathering and analyzing data and collaborating with the team on varied projects.

Requirements

  • Collaborate with senior engineers to help design or develop products, systems or solutions.
  • Prepare technical drawings, specifications, reports, costs, estimates or other project documentation.
  • Conduct testing, simulation, analysis - to evaluate performance, reliability and ensure the product/system meets specifications and standards.
  • Gather and analyze data to support project goals and identify potential obstacles.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions, contribute to innovative ideas and assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Work effectively in a team environment and coordinate with cross-functional teams, clients and suppliers.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Physical Demands

The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. 

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. 

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
