Quality Technician

Norton Shores, MI, 2nd Shift, $15.00 per hour

Job Summary
Looking for a change of scenery? We have the opportunity for you! A local Norton Shores manufacturer specializing in metal products for the furniture and industrial markets is seeking Quality Technicians to join their growing 2nd shift team. This is a full-time, temporary-to-permanent opportunity with overtime available.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Conduct quality inspections on incoming and manufactured parts
  • Perform accurate measurements and record inspection results in the computer system
  • Sort and process rejected parts
  • Use calipers and micrometers to verify product specifications
  • Assist other production departments as needed
  • Ensure products meet company and customer quality standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
What We're Looking For (Qualifications & Skills)
  • Previous quality inspection experience required
  • Experience using calipers and micrometers
  • Ability to read, record, and enter measurements accurately
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable standing for the entire shift
