The Partnership's midstream operations include an extensive network of approximately 14,000 miles of pipeline and over 160 terminals. Summary

As an Associate Analyst - Data Analytics, you will spearhead the development and deployment of advanced analytics solutions, including datasets, dashboards, predictive models, and data pipelines. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to uncover opportunities for data-driven improvements and translate business requirements into actionable insights. As an Associate Analyst, you will provide mentorship and guidance for junior analysts and interns, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation. You will ensure data products are delivered with the highest quality, while promoting best practices in analytics workflows. Additionally, you will present findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, manage project deployment pipelines from development to production, and stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies to enhance the analytics function.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine datasets, reports, dashboards, models that drive strategic decision-making.

  • Manage project deployment pipelines, taking code from development environments to production.

  • Serve as a thought partner to your teammates, contributing to the team's strong problem-solving orientation.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure your work is understood and supported across the organization.

Requirements:

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

  • Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation languages (e.g. R, Python).

  • Experience with data analysis packages for Python (pandas) or R (tidyverse).

  • Experience with machine learning packages for Python (scikit-learn) or R (tidymodels).

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

  • Familiarity with code-first data dashboard frameworks (e.g., Streamlit, Shiny).

  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and intellectual curiosity.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • High level of accountability, initiative, and ownership.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
