We are seeking a Software Engineer II (SWE2) to join a dynamic Python development team focused on a critical data migration effort. In this role, you will design and implement software solutions to transform and migrate data between two complex systems, ensuring the source data is accurately manipulated to align with the target system’s data structure. What You’ll Do
In this role, you will: * Develop and maintain Python-based solutions to support large-scale data migration between enterprise systems. * Design and implement data transformation logic to ensure accurate mapping from source to target data structures. * Contribute to the architecture, design, testing, and documentation of software components. * Implement and support ETL (Extract, Transfer, Load) workflows, ensuring efficient data movement and transformation. * Utilize APIs, Docker containers, and NiFi for scalable, modular software solutions. * Participate in code reviews, version control workflows, and agile development processes using Git and JIRA. Required Qualifications: * Proficiency in Python development and experience with Git and database technologies. * Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with: * Docker containers and containerized application development * APIs and service integration * NiFi for data flow automation * Data structures (including SQL and NoSQL) * Understanding of ETL processes and Python Flask for web services.
