About

Daylit is a leading AI agent platform for accounts receivable. Our platform automates the manual work of collecting and reconciling invoices so finance teams can scale credit and collections teams without adding headcount. Our customers trust Dayilt to deliver a complete view of portfolio health — surfacing at-risk accounts, predicting payment timing, and powering accurate cash flow forecasts. Companies with high invoice volume use Daylit to reduce DSO, eliminate repetitive work, and know exactly when cash will hit the bank.

The Role

You will design secure, highly available cloud architectures, automate them with IaC, and champion DevOps culture across engineering. Your work will directly power every Daylit product—from the Django‑based underwriting engine to real‑time analytics and machine‑learning workloads.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage and Evolve the AI Driven Underwriting Engine –Own the reliability, scalability, and performance of our core Django code‑base that powers underwriting decisions.

  • Own Data Pipelines & Scalable Computation –Design, build, and maintain automated data pipelines (Airflow, Postgres) and distributed compute workflows that support real‑time analytics and machine‑learning models.

  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) –Automate provisioning and management of AWS resources with Pulumi or Terraform.

  • Establish Firm‑Wide DevOps Practice –Define standards, tooling, and best practices for CI/CD, observability, and incident response across all engineering teams.

  • Lead Migration from DigitalOcean to AWS ECS: Plan, execute, and manage the migration of our applications and data from DigitalOcean to AWS ECS, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.

  • Set up Comprehensive Monitoring and Alerting: Implement robust monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and performance.

  • Implement Security Best Practices: Enforce security best practices for cloud infrastructure, including access control, vulnerability management, and compliance requirements.

What You’ve Done
  • Proven track record managing production Django and Airflow applications and services.

  • 5+ years of hands‑on experience with AWS services, including ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, MWAA and others

  • Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Pulumi or Terraform

  • Expertise in GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation

  • Deep understanding of container orchestration using Docker

  • Experience with secret management tools and techniques

  • Comprehensive knowledge of security best practices for cloud infrastructure

  • Database performance optimization skills a plus

  • Fintech experience is a plus

  • Experience with SOC2 compliance requirements a plus

Our Tech Stack

  • Backend - Django, Airflow DAG, Postgres

  • Infrastructure - Docker, ECS, RDS, Lambda, Airflow, Pulumi or Terraform, Github Action, Prometheus/Grafana
