Job Summary:
AMD is a company focused on building innovative products that enhance computing experiences. They are seeking a strategic software engineering lead with a passion for AI and Neural Networks to improve performance in key applications and benchmarks.
Responsibilities:
• Proficiency in machine learning in (neural networks) and Artificial Intelligence
• Ability to program in low level languages (x86 asm, SSE, ISA)
• General software development workflow knowledge: git, cmake, CI, etc
• Expert programming skills in Python, C and/or C++
• Expertise in Machine Learning techniques and its application within graphics
• Proficient in English.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Proficiency in machine learning in (neural networks) and Artificial Intelligence
• Ability to program in low level languages (x86 asm, SSE, ISA)
• General software development workflow knowledge: git, cmake, CI, etc
• Expert programming skills in Python, C and/or C++
• Expertise in Machine Learning techniques and its application within graphics
• Proficient in English.
• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science especially Graphics and/or Machine Learning, Computer Engineering
Preferred:
• Strong object-oriented programming background, C/C++ or Python preferred
• Proficiency in 3D graphics and Ray tracing using GPU Compute and Graphics APIs like Direct3D, Vulkan, OpenGL, OpenCL, CUDA
• Ability to write high quality code with a keen attention to detail
• Experience with modern concurrent programming and threading APIs
• Experience with software development processes and tools such as debuggers, source code control systems (GitHub) and profilers is a plus
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Motivating leader with good interpersonal skills
• Experience in coding with AI tools and agents
