The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experience d API Platform Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise-scale API platforms that enable secure, reliable, and high-performance integration across mission-critical applications and services. This role requires close collaboration with clients, architects, developers, and operations teams to deliver scalable API solutions that support modern digital transformation initiatives.

You Have:
  • Experience in back-end or platform engineering, including distributed systems and API design, and sof tware development using Java or Python
  • Experience designing, deploying, and operating real-time, low-latency API platforms at scale such as Apigee, Gravitee, Kong, AWS API Gateway, or Mule Sof t
  • Experience with DevOps practices and technologies, including Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, and GitOps workflows
  • Experience with caching, load balancing, API security, and protocols, including HTTP, gRPC, or WebSockets
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Experience with Git and collaboration tools, including Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, Nexus, or Bitbucket
  • Experience gathering requirements and e nga ging with clients
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
  • Ability to obtain a Security+ Certification within 30 days of hire date

The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
