Job description

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical, graduate-level Business or Supply Chain Analytics student to support strategic acquisition and inventory optimization initiatives within our aviation aftermarket business. This role will focus on data-driven evaluation of material purchases, inventory productivity, and return-on-investment analysis across a broad range of aviation material.
The internship is designed as a high-impact, project-based experience with exposure to executive-level decision support.


Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:

Support financial and operational analysis of material acquisition opportunities

Analyze historical sales velocity, margin performance, and inventory turns

Build models to assess ROI, cash conversion cycles, and capital efficiency

Evaluate excess and slow-moving inventory risk, and turnover optimization

Assist in forecasting demand and pricing sensitivity

Develop dashboards and reporting tools for leadership review

Present findings and recommendations to commercial and supply chain stakeholders

Develop material velocity metrics (e.g., weeks-to-storefront, weeks-to-sell, turnover, aging) to improve speed-to-market and accountability across functions
Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in a master’s program in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field

Strong quantitative modeling skills (Excel required; Python, SQL, Power BI or Tableau preferred)

Understanding financial metrics (IRR, ROIC, MOIC, margin analysis, working capital)

Meticulous and ability to translate complex data into business insights

Highly collaborative with strong communication skills

Pay: $30.00/Hour

Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm CST, 40 hours a week
