Job description

Uprite Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to support project execution from preconstruction through closeout. This role is focused on coordination, documentation, and helping project teams maintain momentum in a fast paced commercial construction environment. The Project Engineer works closely with Project Managers and Superintendents and is a strong entry point for long term growth within the company.

What You'll Do:
Support RFIs, submittals, and change order processes to keep projects moving forward
Maintain organized project documentation and ensure accurate file management
Assist with scheduling coordination and tracking project milestones
Review drawings and specifications to help identify scope and potential issues
Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors regarding deliverables and timelines
Track procurement activities and help ensure materials arrive on schedule
Support cost tracking, commitments, and basic budget reporting
Attend project meetings and communicate updates to internal teams
Assist with project closeout documentation and punch list tracking

What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
One to three years of construction experience or internship experience
Strong organizational and communication skills
Familiarity with construction drawings and specifications
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software preferred
