What is an internship in production?

An internship in production is a temporary, entry-level role where students or recent graduates gain hands-on experience in various aspects of media or manufacturing production. Interns may assist with tasks such as setting up equipment, supporting production teams, coordinating schedules, and learning about the workflow of the industry. The goal is to provide practical exposure, develop industry skills, and help interns build professional networks.

What responsibilities can I expect during a production internship, and how do they contribute to the overall workflow?

As a Production intern, you’ll typically assist with tasks such as coordinating schedules, managing production paperwork, supporting on-set logistics, and ensuring smooth communication between departments.
