Product Development Coordinator


Location: Manhattan, NY (Hybrid)

Pay Rate: $33.99 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per week

Duration: Contract Assignment


Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Product Development Coordinator to support our Product Development team. In this role, you will coordinate the development of prototype products, manage development timelines, and facilitate communication between vendors and cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a product development background, and a positive, collaborative attitude.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the development process for prototype products and product lines.
  • Serve as the primary contact for development details with vendor partners.
  • Create and maintain seasonal composite sheets and classification charts.
  • Ensure weekly updates are completed and used as timely communication tools with vendors, production, technical, and merchandising teams.
  • Track development schedules and ensure projects are completed within established timelines.
  • Communicate design and product development details to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the Product Development team with data management and sample handling.
  • Assist with various administrative and project-related tasks as needed.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Product Development, Merchandising, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of product design or product development experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Positive, can-do attitude and enthusiasm for working with cross-functional teams.
  • Must reside in the New York Tri-State area and be able to commute to the Manhattan office.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting product development teams.
  • Familiarity with product lifecycle management and data systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Recent graduates with relevant education and internship experience may also be considered.
