Job description

The Staff Development LPN is responsible for supporting the training, development, and ongoing competency of nursing staff within the facility. This role assists with onboarding, in-service education, and compliance with applicable state and federal regulations. The Staff Development LPN works collaboratively with nursing leadership to promote quality care, professional growth, and safe clinical practices throughout the facility.

This position may include a $2,000.00 sign-on bonus, subject to facility terms and conditions.

  • Current, active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Louisiana

  • Previous experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting preferred

  • Knowledge of basic nursing practices and regulatory requirements

  • Ability to assist with staff education, orientation, and competency monitoring

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams

  • Basic computer skills and ability to maintain training documentation
