A leading digital streaming network seeks a Senior Coordinator of Global Programming to support global content planning and programming strategy by managing scheduling, maintaining planning calendars, coordinating content launches, supporting merchandising workflows, and ensuring the accurate execution of global programming initiatives.
Senior Coordinator of Global Programming Responsibilities:
  • Manage global content schedules within content management systems by entering programming information, maintaining scheduling accuracy, communicating updates to stakeholders, coordinating launch dates, supporting calendar planning, and partnering with global and regional teams to ensure successful content releases.
  • Maintain, update, and distribute internal programming calendars, planning documents, metadata, thematic tagging, featured placements, merchandising requests, and ticketing workflows using Airtable, project management tools, and related content management systems while ensuring data accuracy and timely communication with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with programming, marketing, merchandising, curation, legal, rights management, and regional teams to track content rights and restrictions, coordinate creative assets, prioritize content launches, support editorial initiatives, and respond to evolving business needs and consumer trends.
  • Support weekly, quarterly, and ad hoc business presentations by organizing programming data, maintaining reporting materials, performing Excel-based data management and analysis, and providing strategic and operational support for the Global Programming team.
  • Assist with special projects and evolving programming initiatives by adapting to changing priorities, working flexibly across global time zones, and ensuring content plans, schedules, and stakeholder communications remain accurate and up to date.

Senior Coordinator of Global Programming Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in content planning, content curation, program scheduling, content strategy, streaming, linear television, or a related media environment.
  • Prior entertainment or media industry experience required, including streaming, television, audio, video, podcast programming, or similar content-focused environments. Relevant internships or streaming strategy experience will also be considered.
  • Experience managing content launch schedules, programming calendars, streaming play-out orders, content availability, and content management systems.
  • Experience with program scheduling tools.
  • Experience scheduling with WON is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with Airtable for metadata management and title/date tracking, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and the ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies.
  • Experience using project management platforms and JIRA to manage merchandising requests, playlist decisions, ticketing workflows, or cross-functional operational support is preferred.
  • Understanding of television and streaming viewing habits, programming strategies, content scheduling, and evolving media consumption trends.

Shift:
  • Monday to Friday, generally 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with flexibility required to support meetings with global teams across multiple time zones.
