We are seeking Mechanical Engineer Interns for Summer 2027! This is a paid, in-person, 12 week internship.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Design & build prototypes, analyze failures, and transition successful projects into production.
  • Present design reviews, run analysis, visit vendors, design & execute hardware test plans.
  • Use first principles physics as a basis for every decision.
  • Travel to test sites and vendors as needed.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or any related field.
  • Must be a rising senior at the time of the internship and returning to school at the end of the internship to continue academic studies for at least one quarter/semester.
  • Collegiate project team or laboratory experience.
  • Currently enrolled in an undergrad or graduate engineering program.
  • CAD skills (any platform) and ability to make high quality engineering drawings that meet common industry standards.
  • Demonstrated hands-on fabrication skills.
  • High competence with, and fluid use of, engineering first principles.
  • U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export-controlled data.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Prior internship experience and/or leadership on a collegiate project team or laboratory.
  • Experience in NX/Teamcenter and/or Solidworks.
  • Experience with FEA and/or CFD analysis tools.
  • Ability to integrate electrical components into designs (motors, controllers, sensors etc.).
  • Experience with machining, sheet metal, injection molding, and 3D printing.

US Salary Range
$30-$45 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
