Job description

Looking to make a difference in an innovative and dynamic non-profit agency? UCP of Central Florida unlocks the potential of thousands of children each year at our campuses, pediatric therapy clinics and parent support programs.

A part-time Visual Media Internship within our Marketing Department, specializing in creating visual narrative driven content for a variety of mediums, aiming to engage the community, bring awareness to our organization, and inform our families and staff on the impact of our organization.

HOURS REQUIRED

20 hours a week

COMPENSATION:

A $500 stipend will be paid upon a successful completion of the internship

QUALIFICATIONS:

A student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Graphic Design or Media Production.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • The ability to collaborate effectively across departments
  • The ability to track and execute multiple projects simultaneously and under tight deadlines
  • Creating strong visual content for web and print collateral
  • Occasional photography assignments to cover featured stories
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • The ability to shape a story in a group and individual setting
  • The ability to produce various projects from the ground up if necessary
  • Comfortable working directly with children during Photo/Video projects
  • Required attendance at special events as requested (set-up & breakdown included)
  • Other Duties as Assigned

*If a candidate is selected for the internship program, they are required to pass a background check, UCP will reimburse the selected intern for the background check upon successful completion of internship
