THE JOB:
Join our immersive 7-week internship program and experience the full life cycle of a live music event from concept to curtain call. This hands-on internship is designed for motivated recent high school seniors through college sophomores interested in exploring careers in live entertainment, venue operations, event management, marketing, production, hospitality, and guest services.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO;
Interns will gain exposure to the many moving parts that bring live events to life and present a showcase at the end of program:
  • Event planning and coordination
  • Venue and operations management
  • Artist and backstage logistics
  • Marketing and promotions
  • Ticketing and guest experience
  • Food & beverage operations
  • Production setup and event execution
  • Post-event breakdown and analysis
  • Immersive 7-week experience
  • Assist the project manager with additional duties as assigned
  • Program goal by the end of the internship, participants will have a comprehensive understanding of how live music events are developed, executed, and evaluated - while building valuable professional skills and industry connections.

Required:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • You have reliable access to a computer and the internet
  • Currently enrolled at a college/university
  • Demonstrated interest in youth services, industry relations, music business, community engagement, program development, and/or non-profit management
  • Effective, thorough, and concise communication skills
  • Focused attention to detail with a strong work ethic
  • Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Work well independently and collaborate as a team member
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong research, quantitative, and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of the non-profit sector and related programming

Preferred:
  • Experience in a live music environment

Physical Demands/Working Environment:
  • Working environment is fast-paced, often loud and stressful
  • Position requires extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feet
  • Must be able to lift or move up to 25 lbs using proper lifting techniques

The expected compensation for this position is:
$16.0 USD - $20.00 USD Hourly
