The opportunity:
  • 8 - 12 month work-term beginning January 2027.
  • Full-time, paid internship: Monday - Friday,ย 37.5hrs/week.

  • This posting is for an existing vacancy.
How you'll make an impact:

Workflow Automation & AI Tool Support:

- Support the design and implementation of SOPs and automation workflows for L&D team operations using Google Workspace tools (Apps Script, Workspace Flows) and AI platforms (GIA, Claude Code)

- Assist the AI Solutions Developer in building and testing AI-powered tools, integrations, and automation scripts

- Contribute to technical projects such as knowledge base integrations, content pipeline automation, and LMS workflow improvements

- Research and prototype emerging AI tools relevant to the team's learning, enablement, and content management work

- Support the DnA onboarding initiative: build and maintain GIA skills and automated resources for new Data practitioners onboarding to the team

Content Management & Knowledge Governance:

- Conduct audits of digital assets across organizational platforms (IRIS knowledge base, Google Shared Drives, Bynder, MyLearning) to identify gaps, duplicates, and optimization opportunities

- Support the application of content taxonomy and metadata standards to ensure content is accurate, discoverable, and AI-ready

- Assist in maintaining and updating content across the team's digital asset library, ensuring consistent organization and version control

- Contribute to platform consolidation projects and help document content migration and archival processes

Learning Program & Event Technical Support:

- Provide technical support for internal learning events: setup of virtual and hybrid platforms, tech troubleshooting, materials preparation, and post-event data collection

- Assist with coordination and logistics for learning programs and team-organized events (summits, lunch-and-learns, workshops)

- Support the production of multimedia learning content: video editing, eLearning module updates, slide decks, and digital job aids using tools such as Camtasia, Canva, or Google Workspace

Data Reporting & Analytics:

- Gather and compile data on program effectiveness, LMS completion rates, AI tool adoption, and content engagement

- Maintain dashboards and reports that give the team and leadership visibility into learning program outcomes

- Assist in preparing materials for quarterly reporting (e.g., State of AI Enablement report, program impact summaries)

General L&D Team Support:

- Support on-demand L&D team requests: document formatting, research tasks, meeting summaries, and administrative coordination

- Actively use AI tools (GIA, Google Gemini, Claude) as primary working tools - not supplementary - to deliver work faster and at higher quality

- Participate in team rituals, stand-ups, and retrospectives; communicate progress, blockers, and attendance proactively

What you'll bring to the role:
  • Pursuing or completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Adult Learning, Multimedia Design, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field
  • Relevant coursework or certifications in multimedia tools, eLearning platforms, AI tools, or content creation is an asset

Technical & AI Skills:

- Comfort with AI-powered productivity and automation tools (GIA, Google Gemini, Claude, or similar) - required, not optional; this team operates AI-first

- Basic coding skills or strong aptitude: familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, or Google Apps Script is an asset

- Experience with or interest in automation frameworks, APIs, and workflow tools (Google Workspace Flows, Zapier, or similar)

- Foundational understanding of data structures, version control concepts, and software development practices

Content & Multimedia:

- Proficiency in content creation tools: Google Workspace, Canva, Camtasia, or equivalent

- Basic knowledge of eLearning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline/Rise, Adobe Captivate) and/or video production and editing

- Familiarity with digital asset management and content governance practices

- Basic understanding of UX/UI principles as applied to digital learning and multimedia content

Data & Analytics:

- Experience with data analytics and reporting tools (Google Sheets, Excel, Looker, or Power BI) to measure content engagement and program effectiveness

- Ability to gather, organize, and present data clearly for team and leadership audiences

Professional Attributes:

- Strong communication skills - written and verbal; able to keep the team informed on status, blockers, and attendance proactively

- Collaborative team player; able to work across Sales, IT, Product, and Marketing functions

- Self-directed and proactive; takes ownership of tasks and escalates when stuck rather than going silent

- Adaptable and curious; thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment where priorities shift

If you got this far, we hope you're feeling excited about this role! Even if you don't feel you meet every single requirement, we still encourage you to apply.
