What You'll Do

As a PRN Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in the safe and effective operation of our Class A Pharmacy by:

Reviewing and interpreting physician medication orders

Identifying therapeutic incompatibilities and medication concerns

Preparing, dispensing, packaging, and labeling prescriptions accurately

Monitoring drug therapies and recommending clinical interventions

Providing medication counseling and pharmaceutical guidance to patients and healthcare providers

Supervising and verifying pharmacy technician workflow, prescription processing, and data entry

Maintaining compliance with all FDA, DEA, EPA, federal, state, and Texas State Board of Pharmacy regulations

Managing controlled substance accountability and pharmacy inventory

Training and mentoring pharmacy staff, interns, externs, residents, and healthcare professionals

Supporting infection control standards and maintaining a clean, safe pharmacy environment

Staying current with continuing education requirements, industry best practices, and regulatory changes
