POSITION SUMMARY
PRO*ACT is looking for a motivated Procurement Intern who is eager to learn and develop within the fresh produce industry. This internship offers hands-on exposure to purchasing, supplier relationships, inventory coordination, and market dynamics in a fast-paced, real-world environment.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
  • Assist the procurement team with day-to-day administrative tasks
  • Coordinate information between procurement, operations, and accounting teams
  • Help compile simple reports and spreadsheets related to orders and inventory
  • Assist with special projects as needed to support the department
  • Gain exposure to how market conditions, seasonality, and quality impact purchasing decisions

COMPENSATION: $18/hr

Requirements
What We're Looking For
  • Interest in agriculture, supply chain, or the fresh produce industry
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented and reliable
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
  • Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a related program (preferred but not required)
