Eastern Shawnee Staffing Services, in partnership with Indian Health Services (IHS), is seeking experienced Clinic Registered Nurses (RNs) for a long-term contract assignment at Hopi Health Care Center. This opportunity allows you to provide high-quality outpatient care to patients of all ages while gaining valuable experience in a unique healthcare environment.
Start Date: Aug/Sept
Schedule: Full-time Day & Night Shifts Available
Hours: 40 hours per week (8-hour shifts) - no weekends no holidays
Contract Length: Minimum 6 months Up to 1 year with additional extension options available

What You'll Do
  • Provide direct outpatient nursing care to patients of all ages.
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring.
  • Assist providers with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures.
  • Administer medications, injections, IV therapy, and prescribed treatments.
  • Coordinate patient care, follow-up needs, and referrals.
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and preventive care.
  • Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to providers and the healthcare team.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Deliver safe, patient-centered care while following established clinical policies and procedures.

  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program (ADN or BSN required)
  • Minimum 2-3 years of RN experience
  • Minimum of 1- 2 years of recent Outpatient/Urgent care experience
  • Must be experienced with all ages
  • Must be a U.S. citizen living primarily in the United States
  • Must be able to pass a federal security clearance

Qualifications
  • Active, unrestricted RN license (any U.S. state accepted)
  • Current BLS certification required
  • ACLS & PALS preferred
  • Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
  • Previous IHS experience a plus
  • Experience with EHR systems required
  • Required immunizations must be up to date
