The Role

Trillium Labs is seeking a Software Engineer Intern to support our team in creating high-performance solutions for complex financial trading and data analysis applications. Reporting to the Lead Software Architect, this intern will gain hands-on experience with software design and development in a fast-paced, fintech environment. Ideal candidates have a passion for coding, problem-solving, and learning new programming concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the software engineering team on the development and maintenance of trading systems and applications.
  • Assist in designing, coding, and debugging applications using best practices in software development.
  • Support the integration and testing of software solutions across multiple systems.
  • Conduct research on relevant technologies and methodologies to improve existing systems.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall improvement of code quality.
  • Document work processes and code modifications

Requirements

  • Preference: Recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems (CIS), Mathematics, or a related field.
    • *Will consider candidates pursuing the above
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and C#.
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies, tools, and version control systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of algorithms and data structures.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Location: This is an in-person role based in NYC.

Compensation and Perks

  • $25/Hour (Summer 2027, 12-13 Week Internship)
