Job Description

The Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic imaging examinations for the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric patients. This may include fractures, diseases, and abnormalities of patient anatomy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for accurately positioning patients and ensuring that a quality radiographic image is produced.

  • Works closely with radiologists and physicians who interpret images to either diagnose or rule out disease or injury.

  • Responsible for communication and documentation of patient images.

  • Maintain communication with patients, parents, and medical personnel.

  • Maintains on-going plan for personal growth and self-development.

  • Demonstrates professional role requirements related to communication with peers and supervisor and flexibility during unexpected work related events.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • Associate's in Radiologic Technology or Certificate in Radiologic Technology

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program

  • Must hold both the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification/registration

  • Must be Basic Life Support (BLS) certified by the American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One year pediatric and/or orthopedic radiology experience

The pay range for this position is $28.94 - $43.41. Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
