Job Summary
The Senior Oracle Technical Developer designs, develops, and supports custom components across Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 environments. Partnering with functional analysts and architects, you will deliver robust, scalable, and audit-compliant RICEW components, OIC integrations, custom PL/SQL packages, and workflows across Financials and Procurement modules.
Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Design & Development: Build and maintain RICEW components, optimized PL/SQL packages, procedures, concurrent programs, and database staging-table frameworks.
  • Integrations & Reporting: Develop Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) pipelines, REST/SOAP APIs, scheduled interfaces, OTBI/BIP reports, and XML Publisher components.
  • Architecture & Compliance: Ensure all custom code, forms, and workflows comply with EBS 12.2 online patching (ADOP) and Edition-Based Redefinition (EBR) standards; conduct deep SQL/PL/SQL performance tuning.
  • Testing & Release Support: Create unit test plans, debug integration and API failures, and support integrated testing and regression cycles for quarterly patches.
  • Production Support & Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve batch failures, custom code errors, interface logs, and data discrepancies.
  • Documentation: Collaborate with functional teams to translate requirements into detailed technical designs (MD70s) and maintain code migration trackers.
Qualifications & Requirements
Required Experience & Skills
  • 8+ years of hands-on Oracle EBS technical development experience, with robust proficiency in R12.2.
  • Deep expertise in PL/SQL, SQL tuning, Oracle Forms/Reports, OA Framework (OAF), and XML Publisher.
  • Proven experience building and managing interfaces using OIC, Web Services (REST/SOAP), and FBDI/staging tables.
  • Strong understanding of EBS Concurrent Processing, Workflows, and Application Object Library (AOL).
  • Familiarity with EBS 12.2 online patching (ADOP) requirements for custom code development.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
