In this role, you won't just keep the line running—you will own it. You’ll design custom tooling, optimize complex workflows, drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM) on new products, and solve tough technical challenges across mechanical, electrical, and RF systems.If you thrive in a fast-paced environment where your engineering decisions directly impact product quality, efficiency, and field success, this is your next move.Essential Job Functions• Drive Lean methodologies to eliminate bottlenecks, balance assembly lines, and boost throughput.• Spec, design, and qualify custom fixtures and equipment that make build processes faster, safer, and more scalable.• Partner with R&D to bring new products into volume production seamlessly, ensuring designs are optimized for assembly.• Go beyond quick fixes—troubleshoot complex mechanical, analog/digital, and RF failures to root out repeat issues permanently.• Build and maintain rock-solid SOPs, manufacturing instructions, and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).• Serve as the go-to technical authority for production technicians and field service teams working on our core TLS/TTLS systems.Education and Work Experience Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or Engineering Technology).• 3-5+ years in an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment.• Hands-on experience troubleshooting analog/digital circuits down to the component level, reading complex schematics and working in CAD modeling software.• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (Sage 100 a plus) and a strong grounding in lean principles and 5S.Technical Skills & Expertise• Circuit Analysis & Schematics: Demonstrated ability to read complex schematics, PCB layouts, and engineering drawings, with strong component-level troubleshooting skills for analog and digital circuitry.• Systems & Tools: Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (Sage 100 preferred), CAD modeling software, and Microsoft Office (Excel).• Manufacturing Methodologies: Practical experience applying Lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement techniques.• Preferred Experience: Background in RF circuitry, high-frequency signal testing, fiber optics, or SMT/PCBA assembly processes.Why Join Us?• Build mission-critical technology deployed across all seven continents.• Direct access to leadership with real ownership over production lines.• Competitive salary, 401(k) match, 4 weeks paid vacation, 11 paid holidays (including a winter company shutdown), and comprehensive health benefits.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job in an office and manufacturing environment. The employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, forklifts, carts, pallet jacks and other typical hazards of an industrial setting; appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided and must be worn as required.
