• Conduct thorough mental health assessments and evaluations, including crisis intervention and follow-up care for patients.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and timely, including statistical reports and treatment notes, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Engage in weekly clinical supervision with a designated Clinical Supervisor to enhance clinical skills and professional development.
• Coordinate patient care by collaborating with various institutional programs and the Department of Correction to facilitate appropriate housing and treatment solutions.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and case conferences, contributing to treatment planning and teamwork among professionals.
• Develop and lead group therapy sessions, especially in mental health observation units, catering to the unique needs of different patient groups.
• Oversee the supervision of social work interns or volunteer students, guiding their professional growth and practical experience within clinical settings.
• Work alongside Reentry Social Workers to coordinate discharge planning, ensuring that individuals transition smoothly from care back into their communities.

In this role, you will primarily work with children and adolescents who are facing mental health challenges as well as substance use disorders. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and often present with complex emotional and behavioral issues. As you interact with this varied population, you will employ therapeutic techniques tailored to their specific needs, fostering a safe and supportive environment that encourages healing and growth.

• Must hold a Master’s or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or another related mental health discipline.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with team members.
• Commitment to continuing education and professional development to stay abreast of the latest therapeutic practices.
• Demonstrated clinical skills and the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse populations, particularly children and adolescents.

• Previous experience in a detox center or residential facility is strongly preferred.
• Experience conducting group therapy sessions and evaluating client progress.
• Familiarity with psychological testing and assessment methodologies.
• Previous supervisory experience is a plus, particularly in guiding interns or trainees.

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 122,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
