What is an NFL video internship?

An NFL video internship is a temporary position that offers students or recent graduates the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with video production, editing, and analysis for a National Football League (NFL) team or the league itself. Interns in this role typically assist with filming practices and games, editing footage for coaches and players, and organizing video libraries. This internship provides valuable exposure to the sports media industry and helps interns develop technical and communication skills that are essential for a career in sports broadcasting, video analysis, or related fields.

What are the typical daily responsibilities for an NFL video intern and how do they contribute to the team's operations?

You'll work closely with the video staff to ensure all technical equipment is set up and functioning, and assist in breaking down film to highlight key plays or trends. This role is highly collaborative, requiring clear communication with coaches, analysts, and other interns, and plays a crucial part in supporting game preparation and player development. It's a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and adaptability are essential.
