JOB SUMMARY:
Interns will play a vital role in enhancing efficiency and effectiveness through implementing new processes, revising existing programs, and fostering teamwork on collaborative projects. Their key responsibilities will include assisting the coordination of the aftermarket supply chain, providing exceptional customer support regarding warranty inquiries, and cultivating strong relationships with suppliers.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage the integration and implementation of new or revised programs, plans, strategies, or processes within the parts distribution network.
  • Support internal and external customers providing timely resolutions. Coordinate regularly with the organization's stakeholders, including but not limited to: Information Technology, Engineering, Corporate Global Logistics Team, Authorized Service Facilities, Regulatory Compliance Team
  • Collect and analyze data to improve internal strategy for customer support.
  • Customer Warranty Support: Provide prompt and satisfactory resolutions to maintain a positive customer experience. Collaborate with other functional areas to address product issues and prevent future warranty occurrences.
  • Supplier Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Monitor supplier performance and address any issues that may arise.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Pursuing Bachelor's degree in:
  • Business Management
  • Supply Chain
  • Aircraft Management
  • Other related field

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Excellent oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good computer skills
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work in a team environment to meet department level objectives
  • Excellent project management skills

Applicants must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S. for Textron Aviation at the time of making application, and visa sponsorship is not available for this position, including for F-1 students and J-1 exchange visitors who will need employment sponsorship.
Summer internships are 40 hours per week typically from late-May to early-August lasting 10 weeks.
Candidates must be able to work onsite for the entirety of the internship program unless approved otherwise by the hiring manager.
