Job Type: Full-Time

We are building elite natural gas distribution construction crews and are looking for experienced, highly skilled technicians who can perform multiple aspects of gas distribution construction.

This is not a typical labor-only crew position.

Our crews are built with A-team players who can perform a wide range of gas distribution tasks including pipe fusion, equipment operation, HDD drilling, mainline tie-ins, pressure testing, and full mainline and service replacements.

Required Qualifications

·       3–5+ years of natural gas distribution construction experience
·       Experience with plastic and steel gas main installation and replacement
·       Experience with polyethylene (PE) pipe fusion
·       Experience operating construction equipment such as excavators, skid steers, and loaders
·       Ability to read construction drawings, blueprints, and utility plans
·       High School Diploma or equivalent
·       Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
·       Ability to obtain or maintain Operator Qualification (OQ) certifications
·       Ability to obtain or maintain DOT Medical Card
·       Strong communication and teamwork skills
·       Willingness to work overtime and flexible schedules when required

Must pass:
Pre-employment drug screening
 Background check
 Fit-for-duty medical exam

Preferred Qualifications

·       Experience with HDD (Horizontal Directional Drilling)
·       Experience performing gas main tie-ins
·       Experience pressure testing gas mains and services
·       Experience completing full mainline and service replacement projects
·       Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
·       Experience working for natural gas utility contractors
·       Competent Person Training in:
·       Trenching & Excavation
 Confined Space

Key Responsibilities

Gas Distribution Construction

·       Install and replace natural gas distribution mains and service lines
·       Perform poly pipe fusion operations
·       Assist with steel and plastic pipeline installation
·       Complete mainline tie-ins and connections
·       Perform pressure testing of mains and services


Equipment Operation

Operate construction equipment such as:
• Excavators
 • Skid steers
 • Loaders
 • Boring and drilling equipment
Assist with HDD drilling operations when required


Crew Collaboration

Work closely with crew members to complete projects safely and efficiently

Assist with all aspects of construction including pipefitting, equipment operation, and labor

Support jobsite setup, trench safety, and restoration


Safety & Compliance

Follow company safety policies and industry regulations

Maintain Operator Qualification (OQ) certifications

Ensure safe work practices around active gas lines and construction zones


Work Environment

This position involves outdoor construction work in varying weather conditions and active job sites.
Work may include:
Lifting up to 50 lbs
 Standing, climbing, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
 Working around heavy equipment and active construction zones
