Job Description

Top Form Delmar is looking for a energetic, personable, and knowledgeable personal trainer. Must be able to work with a large variety of age groups and goal sets. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for helping others improve their lives through health and fitness.

The responsibilities of our Trainers are:

  • Motivate and train our clients in a 'semi private' training setting while working with our other trainers to coach client toward their goals.
  • Conduct fitness consultations and assessments
  • Track, monitor and report each member’s progress while working to continue an ongoing personal training regiment with each client
  • Successfully write programs for clients with goal sets and health history taken into consideration
  • Train Both Adults as well as Youth Athletes with our training modules.
  • Successful Personal Trainers continue education of each member and create long-term relationships

Qualifications:

  • Current CPR, AED and personal training certification(s) are required as is a current nationally recognized certification such as NASM or ACE
  • Previous PT experience is preferred in either a fitness facility or private training environment
  • Superior communication skills (verbal & written) with the ability to connect with people while motivating them to achieve their goals
  • Desire to continually learn new principles in the areas of training, overall fitness, health and nutrition
  • Hands on training and experience in areas such as corrective exercise, post-rehab, and injury prevention, are a plus
  • Candidate must be willing to learn and go through our unique 'trainer in training' program and an internship for a certain number of hours depending on schooling.
