GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:
Internship Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing the Internship Program, ensuring a structured, compliant, and high-quality experience for all interns. This role coordinates interns and serves as the primary point of contact for intern placement, scheduling, training coordination, performance tracking, and professional development.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties below reflect the minimum requirements for this position.
Internship Program Coordination
• Coordinate and manage the Internship Program across all assigned venues and administrative departments.
• Serve as the primary liaison between interns, managers, supervisors, and department leaders.
• Ensure interns are properly onboarded, scheduled, and assigned to appropriate teams and projects.
• Track intern participation, attendance, and progression throughout the program lifecycle.
• Maintain accurate records related to intern assignments, hours worked, and milestones.
Team Placement
• Coordinate placement of interns assigned to Event Operation venues and/or administration teams.
• Work directly with management and department heads to ensure interns receive hands-on exposure while working with their assigned teams to meet internship KPIs and milestones.
• Assist with scheduling interns for cohort related events, site walks, operational briefing, training, and capstone building.
Training, Development, and Mentorship
• Coordinate training sessions, workshops, and professional development opportunities for interns.
• Support leadership development initiatives and exposure to supervisory and management-level responsibilities.
• Assist with orientation sessions, program briefings, and intern check-ins.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to interns regarding career pathways.
• Collect feedback from interns and leadership to improve program structure and outcomes.
Reporting and Program Support
• Assist in tracking internship metrics, including participation, retention, and advancement outcomes.
• Prepare summaries or reports on intern performance, program effectiveness, and improvement opportunities.
• Support audits or reviews related to intern hours, compliance, and documentation.
• Ensure internship program aligns with labor regulations, company policies, and workforce planning objectives.
