Job description

Position: Simulation Engineer (FEA)
Location: Mossville, IL - Onsite
Duration: FTE
Visa: USC/GC
Must-Have Skills: FEA, Python Scripting, Abaqus, HyperMesh, NX Nastran 

Candidate Responsibilities 

This role will support the virtual product validation of earth movers & mining equipment. Key contributions will include FEA modeling, analysis, post processing and create report with lead support. 

 Technical & Tool Skills 

Good in result interpretation and proposing the new design based on the result. Machines with heavy structures experience is a must.  

Good understanding of vibration and Non-Linear Bolted joint analysis 

Candidate should have FEA Experience of 4-6 Years in the below tools. 

  1. Abaqus (Must) 
  1. NX Nastran 
  1. NX Modeling 
  1. Hypermesh (Must) 
  1. Python Scripting (Good to have) 

Education Requirement 
Bachelor’s degree in engineering Required - Mechanical, or equivalent. 

Typical Day 
The typical work for this role will primarily involve lead & support. 

  1. Co-ordinate the FEA modeling from offshore 
  1. Define the loads and boundary condition. 
  1. Solve the model and debug (non-Linear problem) 
  1. Create report and present the result to the customer.
