Physical Therapist

Location: Rancho Mirage, California

Pay Rate: $2,200 To $2,400 /Week

Contract: 13 weeks (Possibility of extension)

Schedule: Day shift, 4 x 10-hour shifts (Monday–Friday)

Experience: Outpatient Physical Therapy or healthcare experience preferred

About the Role

We are seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist for a 13-week contract opportunity in Rancho Mirage, California. This role focuses on evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, delivering evidence-based therapy services, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient mobility, function, and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and rehabilitation goals

• Deliver physical therapy treatments using appropriate therapeutic modalities and evidence-based interventions

• Monitor patient progress, modify treatment plans as needed, and assist with discharge planning

• Document patient care accurately while maintaining compliance with hospital, licensing, and accreditation standards

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams while supporting patient flow and mentoring student interns when assigned

Requirements

• Active California Physical Therapist License required

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Physical Therapy required; Master's or Doctorate preferred

• BLS Certification required

• Outpatient Physical Therapy or healthcare experience preferred

• Strong communication, documentation, time management, and patient care skills

• Flu vaccination required unless medically or religiously exempt
