Job description

In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC milling machines according to blueprint specifications. Duties include selecting the appropriate fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, and materials, as well as programming and editing existing CNC programs to ensure efficient and accurate production.

After machining, you will use precision measuring instruments to inspect finished parts and verify that they meet all required specifications before moving them to the next stage of production.

Qualifications:

  • Experience setting up and operating CNC mills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Experience selecting tooling, fixtures, and machine attachments
  • Ability to edit and modify CNC programs
  • Proficiency with precision measuring tools and inspection equipment
  • Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) is a plus
