  • Support coursework including pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, and higher-level math as needed
  • Help students build strong problem-solving skills, confidence, and academic habits
  • Communicate clearly with students and families about progress and goals
  • Arrive prepared, on time, and ready to engage students in learning
  • Tutor students after school hours, primarily weekdays

Requirements

  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally within Marin County
  • Ability to engage and motivate middle school and high school students
  • Dependable, professional, and organized

Preferred Qualifications
  • Teaching credential and/or Master's degree in education
  • Experience working in after-school programs, tutoring centers, or private tutoring
  • Familiarity with California math curriculum standards

Benefits
  • $35-$50 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
  • Flexible scheduling based on your availability
  • Full administrative support-we handle scheduling, student matching, and billing
  • Consistent one-to-one tutoring assignments (no classroom management)
